Why Network Delaware?

Do you want to improve your community, join a passionate team, or grow your skills to make a difference?

The Network Delaware community is here with you whether you’re just starting out or have years of experience.

Whether you’re looking to find your cause, fix a pothole, change a policy, or grow your organization it’s about improving your capacity to make a difference in the lives of others.

You'll gain access to essential trainings, shared resources, and powerful connections—so you're never on this journey alone.

Think of Network Delaware as a sports academy for social good efforts. You choose your sport (the cause you choose), collaborate with your teammates (the community you build), practice and play matches (the skills you develop), and ultimately win the game (the impact you make).

With Network Delaware you will have the opportunity to engage in our core support model which includes: 1. A dedicated one-on-one coach, 2. Mentorship and peer learning groups, 3. Supportive real-world skill practice, and 4. Personalized actions, plans, and resources.

Along the way, you'll develop new skills, meet inspiring people, and discover the true impact you can have.

Making a difference starts with believing you can and fostering that same belief in others.

Network Delaware is here to support you every step of the way, helping you turn opportunity into action and showing you that the change you’ve been waiting for starts with you.

Ki'ajah Fistzgiles
Developed her skills through training and coaching to make a difference in addressing gun violence.

Ki'ajah joined the Ella J. Baker Black Organizers Group to develop her skills and work on issues she cared about. Her capacity to make change was immediately apparent. She went through one of Network Delaware’s Organizing Fellowship where she co-launched efforts to address gun violence in her community.

Erika Gutiérrez
Created the Delaware Immigrant Fund to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars to support children and families across Delaware.

Erika had been involved for many years in supporting existing groups and organizations. When COVID hit, she realized there was so much uncertainty around support resources, she needed to be the one to act and form the Fund.

Kuno Haimbodi
Launched the Campaign to End Debtors' Prison which reformed the Delaware judiciary’s fines and fees system.

Kuno was 20 years old and was only looking for an opportunity to volunteer. He found out no one was working on this issue so decided to invite partners to a meeting to make a plan. Eventually this coalition led to new state policy.
