List of Issue Campaigns

Overview

Issue campaigns are highly focused efforts to enact/oppose a policy or propel a specific issue. Network Delaware coaches existing issue campaigns and helps volunteers to start new ones. 

Below is a list of campaigns we are currently coaching. Note these campaigns are all their own organization and operate independently from Network Delaware. 

Campaign to End Debtors Prison

• Description: We are a group of Delawareans seeking to reform our legal system's court-imposed fines and fees, which too often lead to financial insecurity, loss of employment, and imprisonment.

• Description: We are a group dedicated to restoring our connection to the environment and gaining the skills necessary to be informed and effective stewards of our communities.

• Description: EveryBODY deserves the freedom to thrive. We are advocating for legislation to outlaw discrimination based on body size in Delaware.

HOMES

• Description: We organize and engage local communities across the state, including Kent and Sussex Counties, to understand and advocate for the local and statewide policy solutions needed to realize housing as a human right in Delaware

Neighbors Organizing for Credibility and Accountability in Policing

• Description: We are the Delaware chapter of a national campaign to ensure every person–no matter their disability–has access to mobility and independence.
